Tattoo armrest tilt / swivel conversion. Bolt on.

Convert non-adjustable (fixed) arm rest stands to adjustable (tilt).  Tired of dealing with a non-tilting arm rests? We developed this item just for you. Intended for use with existing arm rests pads that have a wood backing and 1 inch round tube stand.

This bracket kit provides all the necessary hardware including (1) pad bracket, (1) tube bracket, (1) "u" clamp, (3) 3/4 x 1/4-20 pan head bolts, (1) 1/2 x 1/4-20 locking nut, (2) 1/4-20 nuts, (5) 1/4 inch flat washers, (1) 1/4-20 thread adjusting knob.

To install:

1) Remove the wood screws that attach the padded top to your original stand.

2) Cut off the existing mounting bracket.



3) Attached the new pad mounting bracket to the padded top by re-using the wood screws removed in step one.

 


3) Attached the tube bracket to the tube using the included "U" clamp and two 3/4 inch long bolts, washers, and nuts provided.



4) Attached the tube assembly to the pad assembly. Install the center pivot bolt first using one 3/4 inch long bolt, one 1/4-20 locking nut, and two washers. Use one washer between the brackets and one washer under the nut. Completely 'seat' the nut but do not over tighten, make sure the bracket still pivots.... a little tight is ok.

 

5) Attached the adjusting knob using the the 1/2 inch long bolt and one washer.

 



Your non-tilting arm rest is now adjustable.
